Skills development and leadership development of youth in the use of information technology: Most of our volunteers live or study in urban areas. These young urban workers have been trained to use information technology to effectively carry out all activities remotely. People who once thought of information technology as a means of entertainment and social media are now using information technology in multi-dimensional social work. As a result, we at FaceBook Group have been able to transform Chadaha into a virtual union. Institutional Education: Satkania Upazila of Chittagong is widely known for businessmen and expatriate professionals. Before 2010, 60-70 percent of students from Chadaha Union used to drop out before completing their higher secondary education. Lack of proper guidance, not understanding the nature of education, child marriage and consequently they get involved in various professions without education. Less than 2% of eligible students completed higher education. After that the education rate increased due to government efforts but it was not as expected. Therefore, after the establishment of Chadaha.Irag, we are working keeping in mind the increase in the rate of education and literacy as one of the goals. The Graduate Forum is a series of roundtable discussions of our volunteers and local graduates on student issues and prospects. As per the advice of the experts, education-friendly programs like school campaign, distribution of motivational educational materials and education scholarships, meritorious student receptions and admission help desks for university admissions have been adopted and implemented in 5 secondary schools every year. This has increased the participation rate in higher education by 10-15% in these 5 years. Women Education: Most of the female students did not have the mentality to study in any good college/university in the city or far away. Due to the activity and cooperation of Publican Group Chhadahar, the admission rate of students in various government universities has increased satisfactorily. At present, the total number of students studying in public universities from Chadaha Union is 60 including 15 women. Literacy: Literacy awareness has increased by conducting literacy awareness programs in all mosques including 9 government primary schools, 5 secondary schools every year. Conducting literacy campaigns in backward areas on a priority basis gives an equitable idea about the literacy rate of our area and provides pen-to-pen training to literates to retain literacy and illiterates to acquire literacy. Treatment: Medical care is an expensive basic need. In the absence of minimal treatment, the daily lives of many are miserable. Again, many people do not have to undergo expensive treatment or surgery. So we organized free medical services for common people in collaboration with Chadaha Graduate Forum. There, a total of 1550 patients are treated by doctors specializing in medicine, nose, ear, throat, eye, diabetes, pediatrics, heart disease and gynaecology. 2 boys were circumcised and 8 people underwent free cataract surgery. In these 5 years, about 2.5 lakh cash assistance was provided by forming health fund for 7 serious patients like cancer. Thousands of people benefit from live health advice during the Corona pandemic. Also, many people are receiving services from our telemedicine and mobile call medical services. Food Assistance: Food is a basic need. How many people are suffering daily due to food. How many students drop out before completing primary education? Many orphanages are trying to educate the needy students by providing them with free food and accommodation facilities. Many institutions cannot provide good and quality food to orphan students due to inadequate funds. Through the food bank established in 2020, we have distributed beef along with breakfast, rice and spices to 650 people in 3 times in 9 orphanages and shelters. Besides, a goat is sacrificed on the Eid of Kurban for the helpless and the distressed. Publication: For the last 8 years, we have continuously published an informative schedule titled "Tohfaye Ramzanul Mubarak" in the month of Ramadan, including "Chadahar Shiksha", ancient signs and traditions. So far our total number of copies printed is 6000.
